Featuring Ron Patel, President of New Mexico United - New Mexico’s Professional Soccer Team
We’re kicking off the Local Legends Breakfast Series — a leadership breakfast created for people who build things, lead teams, and shape the future of Albuquerque. The idea is simple: one leader, one story, one morning of insight and honest conversation among peers.
To kick off the series, we’ve invited Ron Patel, President of New Mexico United. Ron co-founded United in 2018 and helped turn it into one of the most successful clubs in the USL, leading the league in attendance and merchandise while igniting a statewide wave of civic pride. Before his sports leadership career, Ron was a successful entrepreneur in the restaurant delivery space, scaling and exiting through acquisition before shifting into professional sports and civic impact.
